Maybe you remember Ben Peterson, who made great, informative videos on Blade HQ's Youtube channel for years? Exactly this, Ben Peterson has made himself independent some time ago with his brand "Knafs" (American gibberish for "Knives") and landed two absolute hits with the WE Knife Banter and the Civivi Baby Banter.
With the Lander now comes the first own knife under the Knafs label. The Lander is not only a great EDC pocket knife, but also a tribute to the first moon landing and the Lander module used. I wonder if this pocket knife would be part of Neil Armstrong's standard equipment today? The blade made of D2 steel runs on ceramic ball bearings and has a super action.You have the choice: blue G10 and a stonewashed blade, or rather an All Black Everything variant?
A special feature of the Lander is that you can change the handle scales of the knife without having to disassemble the entire construction. You simply loosen the two screws on the outside and can change the handle scales. You can choose between scales made of white, black and natural G10.
By the way, the Lander is manufactured by QSP.

A ruler milled from solid titanium? Is that over the top? Yes and yes! Is it still great? Yes again! Whether the Knafs Titanium Ruler is a useful EDC item for knife nerds? BIG YES!
A ruler should not be missing from any Fedder folder - that much is for sure. Lightweight and indestructible titanium is certainly the material of choice for us EDC fans. The ingenious thing about this ruler are the milled teeth at the ends: here you can determine the angle of the cutting bevel by putting on the blade of your pocket knife. This allows you to keep the original angle when resharpening and not accidentally widen the bevel (which usually does not look so nice, especially with slightly thicker blades). The scaling of the Titanium Ruler is in centimeters and inches, making it absolutely international.
For the colors, you can choose between natural, blue, bronze, purple and gold.

Ben Peterson knows a thing or two about knives. In fact, he knows quite a bit about pocket knives. After all, Ben has not only had a stellar YouTube career at Blade HQ, but was also previously employed at CRKT. So over the years, he's been able to amass an impressive wealth of knowledge. So what could be more obvious than to compress everything you know about such a topic onto a single poster. This is probably the idea behind the Knives, a modern guide poster.
However, you don't get an ordinary paper print here, but a water and cut resistant poster that reminds a bit of a desk pad. All KNAFS posters are shipped in rolled form so there are no creases.

The Three Amigos
The story behind this poster is way too cool not to tell. Basically, it is a collaboration of three greats of the modern knife scene.
First, there's Jospeh Vero, who got off to a whirlwind start on the knife scene with Vero Engineering. His thoughtful, always modern designs, his sense of aesthetics and the very high quality of his knives, have ensured a huge fan base at breakneck speed.
Number two in the illustrious round is designer and photographer Sam aka. Raven The Pirate, who you've almost certainly come across on Instagram. Sam is a gifted artist (and a good friend of ASW) who manages to showcase knives and EDC gear in his own unique way. He doesn't use the latest camera technology or any other high-tech tools - most of his pictures are taken with a 10 year old Canon T3i and a simple flash that shoots against a wall. Here it becomes clear that it depends mainly on the eye and the craftsmanship of the photographer. Sam's pictures speak for themselves.
Number three needs no further introduction: Ben Peterson is one of THE greats in the knife scene and became world famous via the Blade HQ YouTube channel.
So what happens when these three guys team up for a poster? See for yourself. Sam has managed to beautifully showcase the individual parts of a Vero Engeneering Impulse Mini. The poster is printed on matte Topkote Premium paper at Peczuh Printing in Salt Lake City/ Utah. We ship each poster rolled in a special box so there are no creases.

How to Strop a Pocket Knife
Apply a light coat of compound on a strop. Place blade on strop at same angle as knife edge. Pull blade backward in the opposite direction from sharpening or cutting. Use gentle pressure from heel to tip while drawing from one side, then the other. Alternate 7-10 passes on each side. Hair popping sharp is the goal.
