The Umnumzaan is “The Boss”. The name comes from the Zulu language, and that is exactly how this knife is meant to be.
In the left-hand version, you can clearly see how consistently Chris Reeve works. The knife is fully mirrored: lock, thumb stud, and overall operation are designed from the ground up for left-handed use. Nothing feels adapted or improvised – everything is exactly where it should be.
The glass blasted titanium handle is functional and understated. The matte surface offers secure grip, feels comfortable in hand, and is extremely well suited for everyday carry. Signs of use are barely noticeable and simply become part of the knife.
The blade made from CPM MagnaCut delivers a very balanced mix of edge retention, toughness, and high corrosion resistance. Exactly what you want from a modern steel when a knife is meant to be used regularly, not kept pristine in a pouch.
As is typical for Chris Reeve, the blade runs on precision-tuned washers rather than ball bearings. The action is controlled, smooth, and completely free of play. This is complemented by the proven Reeve Integral Lock, known for its strength and reliability.
The Umnumzaan stands for a well-thought-out design that has proven itself for years and has deliberately remained unchanged – because it works exactly as it should.
Modern design, built for everyday use
The Bestech Noctar is a folding knife that doesn’t need to be loud to stand out. Clean lines, a timeless design language and a clear focus on ergonomics make it a tool you’ll enjoy picking up again and again. Designed by Grzegorz Grabarski, the Noctar combines modern EDC aesthetics with genuine everyday usability.
The blade made from 14C28N steel is no coincidence – this steel is used not only in knives, but also as a high-performance material in the tool industry, where toughness, edge retention and corrosion resistance are essential. The long swedge, generous thumb hole and clean flat grind deliver an aggressive yet controlled cutting performance. Depending on the configuration, the blade is available with a Satin Gray PVD, Black PVD or Black Stonewashed finish.
In the handle, the Noctar truly shows its everyday strengths: G10 in six different colors, a pronounced finger groove and a modern, ergonomic profile ensure a secure grip – even during extended use. The knife locks via a bar lock, functionally comparable to an Axis lock: fully ambidextrous, secure and comfortable to operate. Ceramic ball bearings provide a silky-smooth action.
The reversible pocket clip makes the Noctar fully EDC-ready, whether carried left or right. Weighing 142 grams and featuring well-balanced proportions, it feels solid in hand without being intrusive in the pocket.

A slipjoint built for real work
Sometimes you don’t want a refined gentleman’s slipjoint – you want a pocket knife with serious lumberjack vibes. That’s exactly where the Timber Jack comes in. As Jack Wolf Knives’ first release of 2026, this knife sends a very clear message: it’s here to work.
The Timber Jack was developed in collaboration with Tracy LaRock, a custom slipjoint maker and outspoken fan of honest, robust knives. And you can feel that immediately. This knife is large, solid and beefy, fills the hand beautifully, and feels like a true tool rather than a display piece.
For the first time, Jack Wolf Knives goes with a 4 mm blade thickness – about as much spine as you can realistically get in a classic slipjoint knife. Add to that a perfectly executed long pull with a subtle curve, precisely matched to the blade spine. It’s not only functional, but also incredibly good-looking. The blade is made from 154CM steel, exactly the kind of proven, reliable steel you’d expect for a hard-working pocket knife.
You have two clear options to choose from. The Steel Series comes with steel liners and bolsters, perfect for those who appreciate weight and solid mass in hand. Or there’s the Ultralight Series, featuring G10 liners and scales – the same knife, significantly lighter, yet just as capable in everyday use. To shave off a few more grams, titanium hardware is used instead of stainless steel.
No matter which version you pick, you get contoured handle scales, excellent ergonomics, and the satisfying walk & talk that Jack Wolf Knives is known for. In short: the Timber Jack is the knife for anyone who doesn’t associate the word “pocket knife” with manicured fingernails – but with real work.

GiantMouse ACE ReoJesper Voxnaes and Jens Anso Design Grip in textured G10, Micarta or TitaniumBlade in CPM MagnaCut steel with stonewashed or PVD finishMade in ItalyNot just for car fans.
Imagine standing in a place where past meets present, where the industrial spirit and scent of motor oil of yesteryear can still be felt in every corner. At REO Town in Lansing, Michigan, home of the pioneering REO Motor Car Company, you can feel what innovation must have felt like in the golden era of the automobile. This magical place is just a stone's throw from GiantMouse Headquarters. While the automotive era is, of course, long a thing of the past, the place has retained its tradition while also being a haven for many small, innovative businesses, manufacturers, bars and breweries. This creative atmosphere is exactly what inspired the team at GiantMouse when they created their latest knife - the ACE REO. As soon as you pick it up, you'll feel that the balance and weight, are just right. The canvas micarta, G10 or titanium handle fits securely and comfortably in your hand with the "Diamond Plate" routing. By the way, did you know that the Ace Reo is equipped with an MRBS? Maybe you are now wondering what that is supposed to be. This is a so-called MULTIROW BALLBEARING SYSTEM. Here the blade runs not on one, but on two rows of small steel balls, which sit in a plastic cage. So the root of the blade has a larger contact area, which means that lateral forces can be better distributed. In addition, the blade action is somewhat "smoother" and in the case of the ACE Reo a little more reminiscent of the "feel" of a bronze washer.
Whether you are out and about or mastering your urban everyday life, the ACE REO is ready for the big and small adventures. In the blade of this lightweight folding knife, the still relatively new Magnacut steel is used, which is not only extremely rust resistant, but also remains very long cutting. The Reo is locked via a bombproof arresting liner lock. But the ACE REO is more than your new faithful companion - it's a story you carry with you, a piece of true ingenuity you can hold in your hand.
A tribute to the past but also a step into the future.
Sebenza 31
Available in Large or SmallReeve Integral Lock with ceramic ball on lockbarBlade Steel: Magnacut
Clip Design: Off-set (on the 31, the clip now sits diagonally rather than straight)
When in June 2019 the end of the Sebenza 21 was proclaimed and with the Sebenza 31 the successor was presented, this message went like a drumbeat through the knife scene. Finally, new introductions of the manufacturer from Idaho are already very rare. If it is then still about the heritage of one of the most famous and best pocket knives of all time, such a thing does not remain without appropriate reaction. Fortunately, Chris Reeve Knives have improved their recipe for success all in all only minimally but in crucial places, so that one can justifiably continue to speak of a Sebenza in the new 31 model..
First, it is noticeable that the hole on the presentation side of the knife is now omitted - something that many Reeve fans have long wished for. The slightly altered angle of the pocket clip, which now no longer presses on the lockbar, is also quickly noticeable to the trained eye.
Less obvious, however, is the revised lock of the Sebenza 31. Just as with the Umnumzaan or the Inkosi, a ceramic ball embedded in the lockbar now presses against the blade root. The hardness of this ball is in a range that can hardly be measured, preventing long-term wear at the contact point of the lockbar..
To improve the hand position of the Sebenza once again a little, the recessed grip on the front was ground a little differently. All in all, we can say: yes, the new model rightly bears the venerable name Sebenza and can effortlessly tie in with the popular 21 series..
Small or Large?
Just like its predecessor, both sizes are still available.
While the large Sebenza 31 is a truly full-blown work knife, the Small Sebenza remains the king of EDC pocket knives - the hand placement continues to be great on the successor model. All of the features mentioned above can also be found in this smaller version of the Sebenza 31 - just in a slightly more compact and pocket-friendly form.
Please note:The photos are of the Large version in each case..

For a long time, the Victorinox Signature Lite Emergency Yellow was available exclusively in Japan. No EU catalog, no official export. If you wanted one, you had to import it – including waiting time, customs, and a collector’s premium.
It wasn’t sought after because of a special blade or a limited logo, but because of the idea behind it: a small, unobtrusive tool designed for moments when you suddenly have to rely on yourself – without light, stuck, or simply improvising.
These situations aren’t limited to earthquake zones. A power outage, an accident, a blocked door, darkness at the wrong moment – emergency situations can affect all of us. And often it’s not about having the perfect gear, but about what you actually have with you.
That’s exactly why this model was originally developed for the Japanese market. In Japan, emergency preparedness is part of everyday life. Not dramatic, not tactical – but quiet, thoughtful, and functional. Highly visible, small enough for a keychain, reduced to what really matters: light, cutting tools, orientation, and a way to leave information behind.
The fact that Victorinox produced this tool exclusively for Japan for many years makes it even more special today. This former Japan-exclusive is now available without detours, without import hassle, and without collector prices.
You hope you’ll never need it. But it’s always better to be prepared.
Functions
Small blade
Scissors
LED light
Key ring
Ballpoint pen
Nail file
2.5 mm screwdriver
The Huntsman Lite Emergency follows the same idea as the smaller Signature Lite – just taken one step further.
It was created for situations where a keychain tool is no longer enough. Moments when you don’t just improvise briefly, but actually need to act: cutting, sawing, opening, orienting yourself and staying visible in the dark.
This model was originally strongly focused on the Japanese market. Japan has long served as a testing ground for functional emergency EDCs – not as lifestyle products, but as realistic preparation for power outages, earthquakes, and temporary confinement.
As a result, these versions were highly sought after outside Japan. Collectors accepted long import routes, waiting times, and premium prices to get exactly this emergency configuration. Not because of a numbered limitation – but because of the well-thought-out concept.
The Huntsman Lite Emergency reflects this mindset perfectly: large enough to be effective, yet compact enough to be carried intentionally – in a bag, backpack, or vehicle. Ready for the moment when the environment suddenly works against you.
The glow-in-the-dark scales are not a design gimmick. They are about visibility. Being able to quickly locate your tool – in darkness, debris, or confusion – can make a real difference. For you, and for those coming to help.
The integrated LED adds another essential layer: orientation when the lights go out. Not a replacement for a flashlight, but a reliable light source when you truly need it.
Today, this former Japan-exclusive is available without detours. The story remains – the import hassle does not.
You hope you’ll never need it. But when things don’t go as planned, you’ll be glad you were prepared.
