Daniel Schielke is a cutting tool mechanic and graduate designer. He founded the Stahlwerk knife brand in 2012 and has been creating and manufacturing cutting tools of all kinds ever since. In the process, all work steps such as milling, grinding, hardening (including hardness testing) but also the stabilization of handle materials, Ceracote coatings and the production of knife sheaths take place in his workshop.
Series production in small runs since 2018
In 2018, he began creating knife designs for well-known companies. At that time he also started to have his first own pocket knives mass produced in production.
In the meantime he has had 6 of his designs mass produced.
