As a long-time user of EDC Prybars, he knew exactly what it took to create this EDC Grailfor everyday use. Every part of the Side Piece is made by himself in his workshop in Colorado Springs, CO, from high quality 6al4v titanium. The custom screw fittings, were designed by him and are milled from the same titanium by Tactile Turn and Tactile Knife in Dallas, TX, respectively. The Side Piece has a wide lifting tip, which is perfect for versatile applications. For example, as a scraper or for opening packages or boxes or cans. The cap lifter also serves as its wrench (1/4").The recess iin the handle also serves from wrench in two sizes: 1/4"- and 5/16". And is also suitable for metric system. The intersection of the bevels and the tip works great as a cross-head screwdriver.The pill-shaped interface of the clip allows for customizing and bending for various pocket thicknesses. All in all, the Side Piece Prybar is a very elaborate prybar and the result of passion, precision and attention to detail. He determined thedimensionsbased on his experience and years of using Prybars.This is, in fact, the perfect "sweet spot", for a Prybar. The story behind it: Archie and his wife spent 10 days in Medellín, Colombia. The laws regarding carrying knives were unclear there and he had no desire to spend a few nights in a South American prison. So this 12.7 cm EDC Prybar became his travel companion and since then his most used and most carried EDC item. The Mr. NiceBar is a functional, minimalist, high-quality and useful tool. The recessed pocket acts as a frame for the tool, saving weight while providing more grip. The edges are hand ground so they are not too sharp, but not dull either. Capsule lifter and pocket clip are intentionally on one side so that the opposite side has a clean, straight edge. Also a nice detail is the triangular milled lanyard hole.
