The Poltergeist
The Böker Plus Connector is the first folding knife that is in collaboration with Poltergeist Works. The design is clearly attributable to the Polish design forge of Jakub Wieczorkiewicz. The crystal-clear lines with the milled angles on the titanium handle scales are unmistakably the work of the design genius, who was also responsible for classics such as the Real Steel Luna.
The finish of the handle scales and the backspacer is somewhat reminiscent of the knives from Chris Reeve Knives thanks to the sandblasted surface. On the other hand, the polished deep-carry clip and the polished hardware create a nice contrast. The frame lock not only has a steel inlay, but also an overtravel guard, so you can't accidentally overstretch the lock. The ball bearing blade made of S35VN steel, has a Droppoint contour, which takes up the line of the handle so that in open state a beautiful overall shape is created. All the proportions are just right here. The jimping on the back of the blade and on the thumb disk ensure a secure handling of the connector. If you like modern pocket knives, there is no way around the Böker Plus Connector.

Opinel oyster knife
Opening oysters requires strength and skill. The oyster knife from Opinel, created especially for this purpose, proves to be a good helper in this. It is based on a size 9 handle, in this case made of lacquered bubinga wood. In addition to the attractive appearance, this also provides good protection against moisture penetration. The real highlight, however, is the blade specially produced for opening oysters, only 6.5 cm long but 2.2 mm thick, made of modified 12C27 Sandvik stainless steel. It should be noted that, to release the sphincter of the oyster, the blade is sharpened only at the tip about 1.5 cm. The rest of the blade is blunt and can thus be used as a lever to open. As a genuine Opinel, this model also has the familiar Virobloc lock, which reliably locks the opened knife.

MKM Goccia Bead Blasted Titanium
Jens Anso Design
M390 steel
including Cordura sheath with zipper and belt loop
Pure elegance
Come on, you've already guessed the designer of this knife, right? Right, behind the design of the Goccia is of course, Jens Anso. The line of this noble folding knife is clearly reminiscent of the legendary Neo - except that you don't have to sell a kidney here. The Goccia exudes a certain calmness and elegance, which is mainly due to the continuous swing and the organic lines.
The flipper tab fits casually and harmoniously into the design, but together with the ball bearings it also provides a lot of fun. The Titanium handle scales are underlaid with steel liners, which also provide for the secure locking linerlock.
Other than that, all that remains to be said is: M390 steel, deep carry clip, Titanium handle scales, Anso design. What else to want here?

Atelier Perceval - Le Francais Damascus Ram Horn
The classic from France
made by hand
Extremely thin ground
stainles damascus steel
The Le Francais is already something of a modern classic of the French knife culture and is, along with the L08, one of Perceval's most popular models.
Due to the thin, extremely cutting blade and the very universal handle, it is suitable for a whole range of cutting tasks that occur in everyday life. At the same time, the knife does not attract attention in any way and even makes a really good picture in a restaurant. Thanks to the small leather case it can be carried comfortably in your pocket without scratching the beautiful handle.
Although we are dealing with a quite modern knife design, the roots of Le Francais go back to the 17th century. Already in this long past time, French farm workers used a very similar looking knife.
The Le Francais is locked by a cleanly engaging liner lock, which is wonderfully easy to unlock. Due to the small nail hammer the knife can be opened easily with two hands. The wonderfully pointed blade is very well suited for fine work and the cutting edge, which is sharpened on buffalo leather, comes with an enormous sharpness. The damascus steel used is rust resistant and therefore completely unproblematic in combination with food.
All in all you get a really great piece of French knife culture, which will surely take a special place in your collection.
The ram horn, comes from the predominantly from Iran. In many areas the ram is considered the incarnation of power and nature.
Please note, each knife is unique and differs from the knives shown in the picture, because the selected materials are natural materials.

Perceval Le Thiers
Great, timeless design work
Excellent cutting properties
Loving and high quality workmanship
Besides the ever-popular Laguiole knife, the Le Thiers is the second well-known knife design from France, although this design is much younger.
Thiers could basically be compared to the old Solingen in Germany. Nowhere in France are so many small and large blacksmiths as well as knifemakers located as in the tranquil town in the Auvergne. Of the nearly 12,000 inhabitants, no less than 5,000 people work for the 300 or so knife manufacturers in the region.
To honor this tradition, the Le-Thier knife shape was invented, which may only be produced by the manufacturers of this town and is interpreted a little differently by each.
On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the company in 2015, Perceval also has its own version of this modern classic in its program.
In direct comparison to the L08 or the Le Francais, it is noticeable that the Le Thiers is a little larger, curvier and more elegant.
The liner lock closes the knife very cleanly and can be unlocked easily with one hand. Really great is the guilloche on the back of the knife, which we already know from the classic Laguiole knives. These very modern decorations reinterpret the classic file work and still give the knife a traditional touch.
For the blade Perceval use the Swedish 14C28N steel from Sandvik. Deep freeze treatment hardens the structure to approximately 59 HRC, and its high rust resistance makes it well suited for use with food. As with all Perceval knives, the grinding is done on very slowly rotating grinding stones, which prevents the steel from overheating. The honing of the cutting bevel is traditionally done on roughened buffalo hide.
So, if you are looking for a slightly more modern interpretation of this classic French knife, we would highly recommend the Perceval Le Thiers.
Handle Materials:
Macassar Ebony
THE classic! Ebony has an incredibly high density and has been used for decades in instrument making for fingerboards. Due to the very fine pores, the wood is relatively insensitive.
White Ebony
Ebony with a difference. In a wild pattern, the dark parts of the wood alternate with the light, almost cream-colored parts, creating a beautiful look.

Anso of Denmark ASI ARA Amber
Small fixed blade knife by Jens Anso
Modular system of blade, bolts and handle (all parts are interchangeable)
Kydex that fits great without causing pull marks
Screws blue anodized
ASI - the small all-rounder
This ultra compact fixed by Jens Anso, is more versatile than you might think at first. Inspired equally by the small scalpel knives in the medipacks of the US military and a compact desk knife for sharpening a pencil, the ASI (Astra Standard Issue) is an absolute all-rounder. Here you get a really light and compact fixed that has a unique tool charm and is really harmless.
The genius is the idea behind this knife: the RWL34 steel blade is connected to the milled titanium handle by two titanium screws. As a result, the individual parts of the ASI are compatible with each other and you can easily disassemble the knife
Included is a Kydex sheath, which causes no scratch marks when pulling the knife.

Nesmuk Janus chef's knife bog oak
Modern design
Niobium steel
DLC coating
Highest quality
A piece of modern design
The knife itself is not only an ancient tool, but - it is believed - probably the oldest tool in human history. Chopping things has always been an important need for man in the preparation of food. Over the millennia, this necessity has not changed - only the cutting tool has been refined.
With the Janus chef's knife, there is a kitchen knife from Solingen that is not only manufactured extremely elaborately and finished to a very high standard. Nesmuk also deliver a design, which on the one hand has been reduced to the bare essentials, but on the other hand looks absolutely unique precisely because of its sober, modern look. In the design of the chef's knife, everything superfluous was omitted to create a functional knife, which today performs exactly the same as the tools of our ancestors: cutting.
The sweeping curve of the blade combined with the hollow grind on one side provide amazing cutting performance that is sure to delight in the kitchen. The black polished DLC coating makes the blade less sensitive to corrosion and also offers less adhesion. Although the coating used is only a few micrometers thick, it is extremely robust and scratch-resistant. It is not without reason that DLC is used in the construction of high-performance engines, such as in Formula 1.
The niobium steel specially developed by Nesmuk is very hard (60HRC) and retains its sharpness for an extremely long time. The grind has been chosen for maximum cutting action - making cutting in the kitchen even more fun. Despite the high hardness, the steel has a good degree of toughness, so that even coarser work (such as cutting up a large pumpkin) is no problem. The 4mm thick back of the blade provides additional stability for lateral loads or leverage forces.
The handle made of bog oak - a fossil wood that is over 5000 years old - fits wonderfully snugly in the hand and allows problem-free work even over a longer period of time. The stainless steel ferrule has been ground so that no transition is noticeable here.
The Janus chef's knife from Nesmuk may not be the only kitchen knife you need. However, if you are looking for a really good all-rounder, with which the majority of all cutting tasks in the kitchen can be easily mastered, then we would like to recommend this great chef's knife to you.
