Kydex sheaths are becoming more and more popular - especially for small fixed. They are light, almost indestructible and can be carried in countless ways. Whether simply in your pocket, with an UltiClip on the hem of your pants or with a TekLok on your belt: Kydex sheaths are simply versatile.
GiantMouse have their Kydex sheaths made at TRC in Litaun. In the beginning the knives can be a bit tight, but this will improve with time. This is the Kydex for the GMF1-XL.

Esnyx Beer Buster Jr. SlipjointThe basic shape of this knife is of course based on the legendary Sodbuster, also known as the "Hippekniep" or simply "work knife". This is one of the most traditional pocket knives of all and it is probably not too much to say that John Dutton's ancestors built the Yellowstone Ranch with this knife in their trouser pockets. Esnyx have now taken up this traditional form and designed a hyper-modern version of this classic. Incidentally, this was rewarded with the Best New Maker Knife award at the Blade Show Texas 2019.
The screwed handle scales made of Titanium or Micarta are absolutely flush with the tight back spring. While the bottle logo plate is laser-cut on the titanium version, the Micarta version comes with a titanium inlay. The highlight is of course the special back spring: at the end of the handle you will find a hook-shaped recess so that the end of the spring serves as a wonderfully functional bottle opener. Want to make a real visual impact? The Beerbuster Junior is also available with a Damascus blade. Incidentally, the Beerbuster Junior is manufactured by Reate.

JRW Gear Traitor Jamie Williams Design Richlite handlesWharncliffe blade made of Magnacut with stonewash finish Kydes sheath with Beltloops includedMade by Tactile Knife in Texas, USA
There are simply knives that look so futuristic that they could have come straight from a movie set. If Cooper had worn the Traitor from JRW Gear as part of his equipment in Interstellar, it would certainly have looked authentic in the film. The Traitor looks a bit special at first glance. Few curves, but many clear angles, a very conspicuously shaped (cyber) sheepfoot blade and four lanyard holes - old school is different! However, when you take the Traitor in your hand, it immediately becomes clear how well thought out the design is. The handle nestles fantastically in the palm of the hand and the thumb automatically slips into the large hollow on the back of the blade milled from Magnacut steel. The bolted Richlite handle scales provide a great grip and thanks to the various lanyard holes, you have a variety of options for positioning a small safety strap. The compact size and the amazingly low weight, make the Traitor an absolutely EDC-fixed suitable for everyday use.
By the way, the knife is produced by the guys from Tactile Knife.
