Pro-Tech Malibu Reverse Tanto

  • Reverse Tanto blade with a stonewashed blade made of CPM Magnacut Steel
  • Button lock flipper

Already a classic

Summer, sun, dream beach. Malibu, after all! I don't know what prompted ProTech to name this knife after one of the most famous regions in the USA. Nevertheless, this is one of the best modern EDC knives currently available. The overall line is incredibly harmonious and the handling is extremely good. Unlike many other ProTech knives, this one is a manual flipper. A light press on the flipper tab and the blade shoots out of the handle - without any spring support.

You can unlock the Malibu with a light press on the button lock. Thanks to the ball bearings, this knife offers very smooth blade movement. The Malibu is available in the All-Black-Everything version with a Wharncliffe blade.

Warning / Safety Notice:

Risk of cuts: The most common hazard when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can easily penetrate skin and tissue.

Blade slippage: Improper handling or applying excessive force may cause the knife to slip, leading to uncontrolled movements and potential injury.

Injuries from falling knives: Knives should never be left unsecured or placed near the edge of tables or work surfaces, as they may fall and cause injury.

Dull blades: Dull knives pose a higher risk of injury, as they require more force and are more likely to slip. Knives should therefore be sharpened regularly and properly.

Improper use: Using a knife for purposes other than its intended use (e.g. as a prying tool) can damage the blade and may result in accidents.
