The sheepsfoot blade, crafted from premium CPM-S90V steel, offers exceptional edge retention and a clean hand-satin finish. The bead blasted titanium handle feels solid and refined in hand, with a robust framelock mechanism to back it all up.

Magnets can collide with each other or metal objects unexpectedly, which may cause damage or sharp splinters. Some broken magnets have sharp edges – wearing protective gloves is a good idea.
🔥 Not Toys!
Neodymium magnets are not toys. If swallowed, they can be extremely dangerous, especially if more than one is ingested – they can attract each other inside the body and cause serious internal injuries. Always keep them away from children!

💥 Fire & Explosion Hazard

🌡️ Temperature Sensitivity
Standard neodymium magnets can lose their magnetic strength at temperatures above 80 °C (176 °F). Avoid placing them near ovens, heaters, or in direct sunlight.

At first glance, the Blast DLC Scales look just like the classic bead-blasted titanium scales. But look a little closer, and you'll notice the finer blasting grit—and most importantly, the Stubborn DLC coating developed by Piratech.
What makes them special?
You get that familiar, understated look, now with upgraded performance: exceptional scratch resistance, excellent corrosion protection, and a refined, semi-transparent black finish.
What is "Stubborn DLC"?
This custom DLC coating by Piratech is ultra-thin (around 2 μm) but incredibly tough. In testing, TC4 titanium at 32–36 HRC easily withstood repeated contact with S90V cutting edges at 61–62 HRC.
Thanks to its thinness, the coating preserves the texture and detail of the blasted titanium beneath—just with a sleek light black tint that shifts subtly between dark gray and black, giving it a clean yet premium look.

The Black Pearl Scales are crafted from solid zirconium – carefully hand-polished and torch-burned to achieve their signature deep-black, almost mysterious finish.
The result is a smooth, polished surface with a subtle metallic shimmer. Clean, elegant, and anything but ordinary.
Please note:
This set includes two plain zirconium handle scales – no filler tab and no pocket clip. It’s a minimalist design, focused purely on the beauty of the material.
Why so limited?
Zirconium has a very high thermal expansion and contraction rate, which makes it extremely tricky to work with. Every step of the process – from polishing to heat treatment – must be done slowly and precisely to stay within tight tolerances.
Because of this, the production time is around 6 months, and availability is limited to small, occasional batches – similar to the Mirror Polished DLC Kraken.

These special Kraken scales were created through a close collaboration with an entropic anodizing artist from a southern Chinese city known not only for its knife-making tradition but also for its beautiful coastline and beaches.
When the idea came up to bring wearable art onto titanium knife scales – something small enough to fit in your pocket – the artist was instantly inspired. Using a gas torch and his unique skill, he painted his very first piece directly on titanium: golden beaches and gentle summer waves, a heartfelt tribute to his seaside hometown.
Each Golden Beach & Summer Waves set is individually crafted by hand – no two are exactly alike. Because of the time and care involved, availability is very limited, and small batches are released occasionally by Piratech.

How does it work?
Entropic anodizing involves temperature, acid, and perfect timing – a real art form. Temperature variations create the patterns, while acid and flame bring out the colors. Afterward, the surface is passivated to preserve the finish and give it a tactile feel that’s reminiscent of jade or polished stone.
