Because the true performance of a small fixed blade only shows itself in real use. This is where the new GiantMouse scales really shine. Despite their slim profile, they add noticeably more grip and volume. The result: more control, more confidence, and simply a better feel in hand – especially during extended use. Your GMF1 stays compact, but feels distinctly more “grown-up”.
When it comes to materials, the choice is yours: Green Micarta for a classic, understated look; Burlap Micarta with a coarse jute texture and bold appearance; or Titanium with a diagonal milled pattern that is both grippy and surprisingly smooth. Each option brings its own character without compromising the knife’s clean lines.
Installation is straightforward: screws and the appropriate tool are included, allowing you to mount the scales quickly and easily yourself. This turns the ultra-slim EDC fixed blade into a true long-term workhorse in no time.

These handle scales fit both the GMF1 and the GMF1 Fat.
After installation, they are not compatible with the original Kydex sheath.

Ist ok
Die GM-Schalen für das GMF 1 aus Burlap-Micarta sind ok. Passmaß ist sehr gut. Verarbeitungsqualität im Verhältnis zum Preis eher nicht. (meiner Meinung nach nicht mehr als 40 € wert). Ein Gewinde einer der beiden Befestigungshülsen ist nicht gut. Habe nur eine befestigt, das reicht aus. Habe noch ein Lanyard als Griffverlängerung montiert. Haptik ist ganz gut.
