For a long time, classic wet shaving was simply part of everyday life. Calm, focused, and done with tools made for long-term use.

The Erbe Tradition Safety Razor is an elegant, chrome-plated safety razor designed for classic wet shaving. Made in Solingen, it is reduced to what matters most: metal, weight, and a precisely guided blade.

The longitudinal groove design on the handle ensures a secure grip, even with wet hands. Its balanced weight supports steady control without the need to apply pressure.

The blade holder is opened via a twist mechanism at the end of the handle, allowing the blade to be securely fixed and easily replaced. The blade sits at the correct angle for consistent results.

The closed comb guides the blade smoothly over the skin and limits direct contact with the cutting edge. This allows for a close shave while remaining gentle on the skin.

The razor uses classic, standard double-edge razor blades, which are usable on both sides. Once one edge is used, the blade can simply be turned over and used again – efficient, clean, and consistent.

No mechanics, no moving parts, no plastic. Just metal, blade, and handling.

How to use

• Apply shaving cream or shaving soap evenly to the face.
• Shave carefully in the direction of hair growth.
• After shaving, rinse the blade thoroughly under running water.
• To change the blade, open the blade holder using the twist mechanism at the end of the handle and replace the blade carefully.
