Cutlery Roll for 12 Small Pieces with Tarnish Protection

Coffee spoons, mocha spoons, dessert forks – small cutlery deserves proper storage. This cutlery roll is specifically designed for small pieces and keeps your silverware clean and tarnish-protected, without having to polish it every time you take it out.

Note: Older silver cutlery is often larger than modern pieces. If you're unsure whether your cutlery will fit the narrower pockets, we recommend taking a look at our cutlery roll for 12 pieces – it has wider pockets.

The roll holds 12 small pieces of cutlery and is double-layered: tarnish-resistant felt on the inside, cotton on the outside. The narrower pockets hold small pieces securely in place – that's what sets it apart from the larger rolls, where coffee spoons would have too much room to move around.

Why a Cutlery Roll?

Silver tarnishes when sulphur compounds from the air come into contact with the surface. A regular drawer or box does little to prevent this. A cutlery roll wraps each piece individually in tarnish-resistant fabric – slowing the process considerably. If you only use your silverware occasionally, that makes a real difference.

How to Use It

Unfold the roll and lay it flat on a table. Place each piece of cutlery into its pocket – handles facing the closing end. Then roll it up firmly from the cutlery end and tie it with the attached ribbons. Rolled up, it takes up very little space and stores neatly in a drawer or cupboard.

Since Albec stopped production, this roll has been made exclusively for us by a German manufacturer. The quality and construction have stayed the same.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which cutlery pieces is this roll suitable for?
This roll is specifically designed for small pieces like coffee spoons, mocha spoons, and dessert cutlery. For standard table or dinner cutlery, our larger rolls are the better choice.
How long does the tarnish protection last?
It depends on storage conditions – in our experience, well-rolled cutlery stays bright for many years. The key is the double-layered construction: the less oxygen reaches the silver, the slower it tarnishes. A properly rolled cutlery roll seals much better than an open drawer.
What's the difference to a single-layer cutlery roll?
Single-layer rolls are often a bit cheaper – but they offer less protection. The cotton outer layer of this double-layered roll adds an extra barrier against oxygen. If you want your silverware to stay bright as long as possible, the double-layer version is the better choice.
Can I wash the roll?
We'd advise against it. Washing can affect the tarnish-resistant properties of the felt.

Die grünen Wickeltaschen sind alle sehr gut, haben genug Platz, sind stabil und der Stoff ist robust. Gute Aufbewahrung für Bestecke. Würde ich wieder kaufen.

And the best part: The glove is gentle on the surface but effectively removes all discolorations. Practical Tips for Use To achieve the best effect, we have some tips for you: With two silver polishing gloves, you can polish with both hands simultaneously and save a lot of time. If the inner surface of your polishing glove is worn out, put the glove on the other hand and use the backside. For small corners and details, a silver cleaning cloth is a good addition. For cleaning your silver cutlery, our silver soap is very practical: Lather gently with a soft sponge and some water, then rinse with clear water. Silver cleaning cloth – Image 1

Silver cleaning cloth
If you want to make tarnished silver shine again, the silver cleaning cloth from Robbe & Berking is incredibly practical: Whether for valuable silverware, beautiful jewelry, or decorative items made of silver - with the cloth you can ensure shiny results in no time at all. Easy to use for shiny silver Using the silver cleaning cloth for cutlery and other silver items is really easy: take the cloth and rub gently over the tarnished areas. Thanks to the special impregnation of the cloth, the oxidation layer is effectively removed and the beautiful silver shine is restored. Our tip: Felt cutlery holders are a great way to keep your silver cutlery perfectly organized and tarnish-proof. The perfect size With dimensions of around 30 x 45 cm, the silver cleaning cloth offers you enough surface area to clean even larger silver items, such as a silver teapot, with ease. At the same time, it is handy enough to clean delicate pieces of jewelry. Care instructions: Please do not wash the silver cloth! Over time and repeated use, your cloth will become dirty. If this happens, please do not wash it, as it loses its impregnation when washed. We recommend that you use the cloth for as long as possible and replace it with a new one when it becomes heavily soiled. Other ways to clean silver In addition to the silver cleaning cloth, there are of course other effective methods to make your silver shine again: A silver polish is particularly suitable for heavily tarnished silver and larger items. Apply the cleaning lotion to a soft cloth and rub it gently over the affected areas. Then polish your silver items. In our opinion, silver soap is the gentlest way to clean silver, effectively removing impurities without damaging the surface. It is ideal for silver coins!
