Clip the Slip
Often the best ideas come out of everyday life. Anyone who has ever used a Buck 110 for a long time knows that this great classic is a very capable but also heavy tool. It can be carried well on the belt thanks to the corresponding holster - but you don't necessarily want that all the time. In any case, knives of this size are clearly too heavy for a pocket.
Daniel Pokladek, the man behind DP steelandleather, thought so too. He was simply tired of having to carry his heavy buck on his belt all the time and so the idea of a small leather sheath with a riveted pocket clip was born. Daniel had already had the experience of sewing leather before: a knife he had made himself needed a sheath. Not finding anyone willing to make one for him, he tried his hand at the sewing machine himself - with a convincing result. The foundation was laid and the ideas began to bubble up; the way to ClipSlip was paved.
Daniel Pokladek, born in 1976, comes from a family with clear roots in traditional crafts. As the son of a master watchmaker and a lathe operator, working with his hands was present virtually from childhood. Years of making music followed, from punk to alternative rock and a job in radio.
Today, Daniel's ClipSlip in particular is enormously popular in the knife scene. Thanks to the very high quality stainless steel clip and the great stitching, they get a slip sheath like you can hardly find a second time. So even classic pocket knives that do not have a pocket clip can be carried without you being heavy and crosswise in your pocket.

Really Nice!
The leather finish is great and feels like I’ve had it forever, like it’s already uniquely mine. Sit below the top of my pocket just slightly which is perfect! ASW is top notch!

Immer wieder gerne...
Habe den ClipSlip medium für mein Viper Key bestellt und es paßt perfekt, mit einem Lanyard als Ziehilfe für mich die optimale Lösung. Wertigkeit, Verarbeitung, hier stimmt einfach alles. Dachte zuerst, dass der Preis ein bisschen hoch ist, aber das ist 100% gerechtfertigt. Werde mir auch noch ein large für meine größeren Messer zulegen. Ein Wort zum Service der ASW, hier fühlt man sich als Kunde noch ernstgenommen, wirklich super und daher auch immer wieder gerne.

Neuer Lieblings-Messerladen
Habe das ClipSlip im aktuellen Messermagazin gesehen und sofort erkannt, genau dass brauche ich für mein geliebtes, kleines Ankermesser von Otter. Die Passform und die Verarbeitung sind hervorragend (auch wenn der Clip tatsächlich etwas scharfkantig ist), ebenso der Service und die persönliche Ansprache durch das Team von der Altonaer Silberwerkstatt. Gleich mitbestellt habe ich mir die Carpe Diem EDC Münze, jetzt auch ein ständiger Begleiter. Wie dort richtig steht "Tempus Fugit", die Zeit vergeht und somit ist auch Corona irgendwann Geschichte, so dass einer entspannten Tagestour zum Stöbern im Ladengeschäft nichts mehr im Wege stehen wird.

ASW Service wirklich sehr freundlich und persönlich!
Der Clip Slip sieht top aus und ist auch so verarbeitet. Mir geht mein L08 noch ein bisschen zu schwer aus dem Slip. Hoffe, das ändert sich mit der Benutzung noch.

perfekte Lösung!
habe inzwischen alle 4 Größen und bin begeistert. Super konstruiert und verarbeitet. Jetzt dürfen die schönen Klassiker ohne Clip endlich mit raus, ohne in der Hosentasche zu stören. Und dazu das freundliche, zuverlässige und kompetente Team der ASW! Was will man mehr?

Super Qualität
Benutze den Clip-Slip medium für mein Perceval 08 und 10. Perfekter Sitz des Messers im Etui und auch in der Hosentasche. Jetzt ist bei jedem Restaurantbesuch ein Perceval dabei. Sehr gute Verarbeitung und wie immer schnelle Lieferung. Absolut zufrieden mit ASW.

ClipSlip medium - Perfekt und elegant
Für mein Le Br@bançon suchte ich ein Etui mit Clip. Im Restaurant, am Tisch, möchte ich nicht in der Tasche wühlen müssen. Das Etui ClipSlip sieht super aus, ist sehr gut verarbeitet und passt perfekt in die Hosentasche. Der Clip ist mir etwas zu scharfkantig, es stört aber nicht wirklich. Es ist ein tolles Produkt.
