Liebe auf den zweiten Blick
Nachdem ich mein Kingpin ausgepackt hatte, war ich mir uneins, ob ich es behalten wollte. Der Reate-typischen Verarbeitungsqualität* standen eine für meinen Geschmack zu weiche Feder (ca. 5 von 10) und ein zu aggressives Design gegenüber. Ich habe mich letztendlich dazu entschieden das Messer zu behalten, und siehe da, nach einer gewissen Eingewöhnungsphase fand ich das Design auf einmal recht ansprechend und die verhältnismäßig weiche Feder störte mich auch nicht mehr. Tatsächlich ist es seit etwa zwei Monaten an 5 von 7 Tagen mein täglicher Begleiter. *Meiner Ansicht nach, sind bei Reate Fit und Finish sogar noch besser als bei Jack Wolf Knives und J.E.Made Knives
