NotoriousEDC Kingpin Slipjoint Black Micarta / Satin Blade

NotoriousEDC Kingpin Slipjoint Black Micarta / Satin Blade

  • modern slipjoint pocket knife with titanium scales
  • Tom Medvedich design and High-endmanufactured by Reate
  • Hollow ground blade made of M390 steel
  • Leather sheath and microfiber cloth included

The Kingpin from NotoriouseEDC is a Slipjoint, as it could hardly be more modern execution! The idea that Stan Lee's Marvel character "Kingpin" could carry such a pocket knife in the inside pocket of his jacket makes this sting all the more interesting.

Yet the Kingpin is by no means a typical comic gangster knife, but much more Tom Medvedich's idea of a modern gentleman folder. First of all, the handle is quite straight, but thanks to its discreet recessed grip, it sits very securely in the hand. A milled groove on the titanium indicates a bolster, which visually loosens up the design a bit.

The star of the show on the Kingpin is clearly the blade: hollow ground, made of M390, with a long fuller - knife heart, what more could you want! The Harpoon-style blade runs really pointed, giving the knife a very nice, modern touch.

By the way, the Kingpin is manufactured by Reate, which promises the highest quality!

Warning / Safety Notice:

Risk of cuts: The most common hazard when using knives is the risk of cuts. Sharp blades can easily penetrate skin and tissue.

Blade slippage: Improper handling or applying excessive force may cause the knife to slip, leading to uncontrolled movements and potential injury.

Injuries from falling knives: Knives should never be left unsecured or placed near the edge of tables or work surfaces, as they may fall and cause injury.

Dull blades: Dull knives pose a higher risk of injury, as they require more force and are more likely to slip. Knives should therefore be sharpened regularly and properly.

Improper use: Using a knife for purposes other than its intended use (e.g. as a prying tool) can damage the blade and may result in accidents.
