The Rubis Classic Steel is a high-quality cosmetic tweezer that enables comfortable and very precise work: in the version with a pointed tip, it is particularly suitable for removing ingrown hairs or splinters. With an angled tip, it is ideal for plucking eyebrows, removing facial hair and epilating unwanted hair in other areas of the body. Material
Rubis scissors are not simply stamped, but intricately turned from martensitic steel. This high-quality material, whose name goes back to the German metallurgist Adolf Martens (1850-1914), has two special properties that are indispensable if you want to make really good scissors: on the one hand, it can be highly hardened, which contributes decisively to the high quality and long life of the cutting blades; on the other hand, it can be easily shaped, which is important for the perfect functionality and design of the scissors. Surgical steel is acid resistant and resistant to rust. By glass bead blasting its surface and the complex grinding process of the scissors blades, we manage to close the steel pores as much as technically possible and reduce the susceptibility to corrosion to a minimum. We deliberately avoid nickel or chrome plating of the scissors in order to spare you possible allergic reactions.
